Finding Our Path Through Life

Updated: Jul 26, 2021

Do you every question your path? Where you are headed? What you want to contribute to the world? How can we find our path?

Following Our Dreams?

A number of years ago, after my husband passed away, I asked myself 'What Next?' I didn't want to just wallow in grief, but wanted to move forward in my life and make a difference in the world. As I meditated, these words kept coming up.... 'help people learn how to heal themselves'. Since that time, I have been teaching mindful movement including Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga. I also became a certified personal trainer to increase my knowledge about safe movement and anatomy. I have mainly worked with cancer patients, cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients and seniors.

In my teaching, I have seen the power of these modalities. Stress relief, improved balance, improved pulmonary function, reduced anxiety and so many more. But I really think the most powerful part of Qigong is the mind and body connection. Being able to check in with our physical body, our emotions, and our thoughts is such a valuable tool for navigating life.

I am grateful that I have followed my dreams and they continue to grow.

What is next?

Over the past year, with COVID, I have been teaching strictly on-line and also gone through a personal healing transformation. In this transformation, I have learned there is so much more out there that we all need. This last year, I have used these mindfulness tools to transform my health and I want to share these ideas with others so they can incorporate them into their lives. This will be the purpose of this blog.

How do we apply the mindfulness of Qigong and Tai Chi into our daily lives? To join me on this journey, you can check back or subscribe to the blog by Subscribing at the top of the page.
